Corinth Pipeworks has been awarded the Line Pipe Supply Package for the Rovuma LNG Phase 1 Project in Mozambique, one of the world's most significant energy developments currently under execution. The award by the Area 4 Partners led by ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada in its capacity as the delegated operator, further strengthens Corinth Pipeworks' position as a leading global supplier of advanced steel linepipe solutions for complex offshore and subsea infrastructure projects.
Corinth Pipeworks will manufacture approximately 250 km (120,000 tonnes) of Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) linepipe ranging from 20-inch to 24-inch diameter for the project's offshore pipeline network, including anti-corrosion coating and concrete weight coating scopes. Production will take place at the company's state-of-the-art facilities in Thisvi, Greece. The scope requires the delivery of high-performance linepipe solutions capable of meeting the demanding operating conditions associated with deepwater gas.
The award valued between 200 and 250M USD reflects Corinth Pipeworks' proven ability to deliver highly engineered linepipe solutions for demanding offshore applications, supported by its advanced manufacturing facilities, quality assurance processes and project execution expertise. The Rovuma LNG Project expands Corinth Pipeworks' global offshore footprint and reinforces its role as a trusted partner for major energy infrastructure projects worldwide.
