Sustainability management is of strategic importance for Corinth Pipeworks in order to enhance and maximize the sustainability principles by addressing the social, economic, and environmental dimensions. Sustainable development is the only guarantee to ensure the Company’s business future and thus generating added value for all its stakeholders.
 
Continuous improvement at Corinth Pipeworks is ensured through the integrated management system which the Company applies. The integrated system includes:
  • the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standard,
  • the environmental management system, in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 international standard,
  • the occupational health and safety management system, in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard. 
 
Through the certified management systems, Corinth Pipeworks monitors and assesses its performance per CSR axis and, in essence, achieves comprehensive treatment of responsible operation issues, as well as making decisions based on its sustainable development principles.
 
Corinth Pipeworks has established the Corporate Responsibility team, which regularly reviews the arising issues and plans the respective actions on an annual basis so as to facilitate more effective management of corporate responsibility issues. The Corporate Responsibility team includes representatives of various departments of the Company and is accountable to Corinth Pipeworks Chief Executive Officer. Integrated management of Corporate Responsibility issues is a matter of concern for the entire organisation and is based on five pillars. (1) CSR team, (2) Reporting, (3) Culture of responsibility, (4) Management commitment and (5) Management systems.
